White Lee Wind farm Scotland

Took a trip to White lee Wind farm, Scotland. I was trying to capture the beautiful scenery, light and positioning of the windmills. The Sun was very strong and found it difficult not to over expose my pictures.

Piperdam, Scotland

Took a trip up to
Piperdam,
first time ive used my DLSR whilst it was snowing. This is a few shots from my  experience.

Photographs - Neilston pad glasgow

Photographs were taken in Neilston pad during a walk with the dog. I've been playing with the colour in a few of the photographs to enhance selected objects to make the images slightly more interesting.  

I also was playing with the continuousness shooting mode on my camera to capture some action shots of the dog. I changed the focus and angle in a few shots to see if I could capture something more creative looking.

Graffiti In Bristol

Took a trip down to Bristol for the encounters film festival, whilst down there I got a chance to snap some of the famous Banksy's graffiti work. Found his work and Bristol very inspiring. My favourite picture is of the spaceman, love the colours in the photograph.

Been reading up on how to set the cameras focus/aim, this is how I got on when testing out some tips in the garden.

 Took some photographs down on the river Clyde. I have been playing about with the positioning of objects in the shot and the lens distortion.

Colour splash

Aberdeen beach boat hut

One of my favourite pictures I took up in Aberdeen beach over a month ago of an old boat hut. I put the image into Photoshop and played about with the layers to create this splash of colour.

After using layers in Photoshop to dull the background make the flower stand out more.









Used the cyanotype saturation/hue tool in Photoshop to remove the black and white colouring.

Pull focus

 This is some of the images I have taken lately through out the house. This is me just starting to learn, understand and mess around with the setting on my camera. I have been trying to pull the focus on the camera so certain objects stand out in the images.

New blog

I have purchased a new camera, Canon SLR 550d, so I order to track my progress of my photographs and let everyone see what I am up to I though I would start a new blog. Also wanted to keep it separate from my animation and digital art blog, as this is more of an interest than a career choice for me.
